› Gazechim, distribution specialist

The Gazechim group was founded in 1937. This independent, French family firm is organised around three main activities:

• Packaging and distribution of pure & special liquid gases
• Packaging and distribution of refrigerant fluids
• Distribution of composite materials

The company started in Béziers with the packaging and distribution of liquid gases and, more specifically, sulphur dioxide for the wine-making industry. The 1970s saw the development of new activities: the distribution of composite materials and plastics.

Today, the products distributed by Gazechim group companies are used in a multitude of applications in our everyday lives, including oenology, water treatment, aeronautical industry, car industry, yachting, refrigeration and air conditioning, sports and leisure activities and renewable energy. In 2020, the Group sells its Plastics business.

› Gradual, continued growth

The group has succeeded its gradual, lasting development, while preserving the family’s control and reinforcing its independence. It is currently present in 17 countries and employs more than 650 people around the world.
